APARTMENTS
THAN JUST
MORE

Life at Columbus Colony Housing I and II offers more than just a place to live it provides a sense of connection, comfort, and community. Residents often gather in the lobbies or community spaces, spending time together in conversation or enjoying simple activities like card games.

From games like Bingo and Dingo to casual gatherings and community dinners hosted by staff, there are moments throughout the year that bring residents together. Seasonal activities and special events, including visits from local groups such as Girl Scouts and, during the holiday season, Signs of Christmas, also provide opportunities for connection and engagement.

The connected buildings allow residents from both communities to come together and enjoy shared spaces and activities.

We also welcome involvement from local colleges and schools, including Ohio State University, Otterbein University, Capital University, and Columbus State Community College, as well as various high schools with ASL programs. Students periodically visit to connect with residents and participate in activities.

Residents may also have access to occasional outings, such as grocery trips, when available through volunteer drivers and community transportation resources.

Whether it’s a quiet day at home or time spent with neighbors, our community is designed to offer a balance of independence and connection, allowing residents to engage in ways that feel right for them.
